Corrupt isn't a strong enough word to describe the "Just Us" department.
Oh, the talking heads will go on TV, congress critters will call for investigations, accusations of the politicization of the FBI and the DOJ will fly...and the culture of corruption will keep rolling on and on.
Sessions needs to remove him.

His sickening behavior is corrosive to the enterprise of a shared governance based on common values and the consent of the governed.
That's pretty audacious, given how it doesn't work both ways. Where was that sentiment when Obamacare was rammed through by a Democratic super majority who twisted the rules like none before them? They celebrated it, obnoxiously. So STFU with that nonsense.

And wouldn't that be a sad irony after we lose a reliable Senate seat to the democrats.

sdy https://www.politico.com/story...mueller-texts-294156Page to Strzok: “Maybe you’re meant to stay where you are because you’re meant to protect the country from that menace,”
“I can protect our country at many levels,” Strzok replied.

Strzok to Page:
“I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office — that there’s no way he gets elected —
but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk,” Strzok wrote to Page in August 2016.
“It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40,”
It’s unclear who Andy is, but other messages suggest he may be FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. He recused himself from Clinton email related issues one week before the presidential election, but Republican critics have said he should have done so sooner because of his wife’s campaign for the Virginia state senate was supported by Clinton allies.
Shortly after the election, Page suggested Trump might be brought down by scandal.
“Bought all the president’s men,” she wrote. “Figure I needed to brush up on watergate.”
The texts show that after the election Strzok and Page also seemed aghast at the possibility that then-Sen. Jeff Sessions might be nominated as attorney general.
"Sessions for DoD or AG," Page wrote on Nov. 15, about a week after the election.
"Which is the f-ed uppedness of it ... Sessions for AG," Strzok wrote back.
"Good god," Page replied.

JALLENIt’s hard to sit there watching these bureaucrats thumb their noses at Congressmen and even Senators, defying their demands for information etc. but when you reflect on how many in Congress are utter buffoons themselves, untrustworthy showboaters, it may be we are lucky that it is this way.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown December 13, 2017, 08:24 PM

sdyThere has been speculation on why Stryzok's texts were reviewed and on what justification.
http://www.foxnews.com/politic...s-came-to-light.htmlDOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz said his office requested text messages
from the government-issued phones of several FBI employees involved in the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
According to Horowitz, "politically-oriented" text messages between Strzok and Page were found in his office's initial search. That led to the watchdog requesting all messages between the two through the end of last November. Those messages were produced by the FBI on July 20 of this year and Mueller and Rosenstein were informed about them a week later, on July 27.
The following day, Horowitz's office requested additional messages between Strzok and Page between December 2016 and July 28. Those messages were received on Aug. 10.
