When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

For a 2 minute clip it is encyclopedic in its description of the left. The hard left is sundering their party so they certainly don't want to talk about it.

Is there some reason, beyond being lazy, that all of these DACA "dreamers" haven't applied for citizenship previously? I mean, they've been in this country for how long now? How hard would it have been?

He gives them a whole lotta truth but it falls on deaf ears: Stop with this silly impeachment stuff. Trump is here to stay. Develop strategies which will allow the Democrats to win back seats in Congress and win back the Presidency.
Stop aligning the Democratic party with radical groups, such as AntiFa and BLM.

Yeah, I can see how that would upset the commies.

In regards to DACA, what the msm isn't saying is that it was pretty close to getting reversed anyways, due the lawsuit threat by Republican State Attorney Generals*.

I saw some numbers posted somewhere on this site, that if accurate listed something under 10% of ALL of them....

Watched a MSM 'interview' with a now-college-graduated dreamer of long residence in US, mid-20ish certified teacher (of what they didn't say) STILL not naturalized citizen, afraid of being exported to 'a country I don't even remember'....

Bullshit.

The fucker makes it clear that he knew and knows what was and is proper, yet he still spent 8 years driving this country like he stole it.

Oh, wait...

...wonder if he changed pens mid stroke, authoring that letter to a yearned for canonized self.

How ironic. The left is freaking out about Trump ending a program the was illegally installed, circumventing the very basis of our country's separation of powers. Yet at the same time, their biggest fear is that Trump will do the same thing Obama did.

All Trump did was turn the power back to the people here. He's allowing the citizens to decide (through their congressional representatives) if the want to allow this subset of illegals to stay here. Instead of freaking out and calling Trump a Nazi, they should write their congressman and make a case on how these illegals taking jobs from citizens is actually good for our country. I know I'll be writing mine to argue the opposite.

I call this a major win for democracy.

Exactly.
Obama did not have the power to re-write the statute or select what parts he would enforce.
His job is to execute the law, as written by Congress.
Trump is doing the right thing, the Constitutional thing.
BTW... Paulie Ryan is still a pussy.

If the Left is unhappy with the way things are going, they should have offered up an electable candidate last year. They didn't. Tough shit.

The Coronation was cancelled. Maybe they didn't get the memo because they were too busy BITCHING about everything on God's green earth.

Obama himself stated DACA is not a path to citizenship or a green card. It's really a dead end program. I'm sure if Hitlery had won the plan was to make the dreamers citizens. My understanding is that several thousand dreamers now have green cards.

I suspect most dreamers have family that are illegals. Plus the only way to become a legal immigrant is to leave the US then return. Further, I expect there will now be a fish to become a dreamer.

Keep in mind the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. It supposedly fixed immigration. There was forginess, a panther to citizenship, increased border security and employers were required to check a persons immigration status. Thirty years later we have the exact same problems. By the Immigration Reform Act of 1986, no dreamers should be in this country and all should be deported. However, the Congress, Government, and business failed to have the courage to enforce the act.

Senator Menendez (D, NJ) says:

"with this decision he has chosen once again to cloak his presidency with a white nationalist flag instead of the diverse fabric of our multicultural American society,”

that would be this Senator Menendez:

Sen Menendez's trial kicks off Wednesday in New Jersey, where the 11-year incumbent senator is accused of using his office to try to assist and protect a longtime friend, Dr. Salomon Melgen, in disputes with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Former Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, who retired last year, was fingered as trying to help Mr. Menendez in his efforts to derail a federal probe of Melgen.

Mr. Menendez had asked the judge to allow him to skip out on the trial so he could be in Washington for upcoming votes. The judge rejected his request,

In a detailed statement last week, those prosecutors outlined the case against Mr. Menendez, whom they indicted in 2015 on accusations of taking roughly $1 million in gifts in exchange for political favors for Melgen.

Prosecutors say Mr. Menendez helped Melgen obtain visas for girlfriends from Brazil, the Dominican Republic and Ukraine. It also said Mr. Menendez used his office to try to shield his friend from accusations that he overbilled millions of dollars in Medicare payments.
Melgen pleaded guilty this year to conspiracy to commit fraud in billing and was charged in August with bribery in connection with Mr. Menendez. Late last week, Melgen was also indicted on 76 more counts of fraud.

Dr Melgen was paid $21 million in 2012 by Medicare. Melgen was the top 2012 Medicare biller.

Mr. Melgen sent two checks totaling $600,000 to the Reid-led Majority PAC — earmarking the money for Mr. Menendez’s re-election campaign, according to prosecutors.

Mr. Menendez also tried, and failed, to get the head of CMS to reverse course. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius also shot down his request to intervene after meeting with Mr. Menendez in Mr. Reid’s office, according to the brief.

Mr. Menendez was appointed to his Senate seat in January 2006 after Jon Corzine was elected governor. Mr. Menendez won a full term later that year and was re-elected in 2012.
The son of Cuban immigrants, he served as head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 2013 to 2015. He gave up the post after he was indicted.

He is unique in the Senate in sending out press releases in Spanish, with an English translation below the Spanish version.
