Why doesn't she just wait until Sunday and then stand up in church and again invoke Jesus to make excuses for her calling for the murder of the President of the United States? All Democrats are complete phonies and hypocrites.

I'm hearing from Republican members who think it would open a can of worms. They might face similar calls for removal every time they say something that's not politically correct . They think it would give even more power to the media who don't give Republicans a positive or even a fair image.
Really? I think there is a significant difference between a death threat on the President of the United States and saying something unsavory.

Everybody agrees that our system is broken and needs to be fixed. But when it comes to making those fixes, we can't do it because (insert whatever reason here).
well, has she been detained or investigated by the USSS yet?
if not, perhaps this has set the new standard on what is considered free speech

Sessions surprises me that he isn't doing more to keep Trump's back safe - given what Trump risked to make him AG.
Shit, I could do a far better job as AG than Sessions is doing.

I am thinking Democrats in Missouri were thinking Republicans would kick her out and take care of their (Democrats) problem child here.
Looks like that will not happen and Democrats in that state will have to wear her like an albatross.
There may be a silver lining here.

Yes, of course, and I think she should go... But it's not looking like the Senate will boot her.

The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

I had high hopes for Sessions. He's been a big nothing to this point. Tough talk about MS13 has been about the extent of it. MS13 is a problem but not even in the top ten of things he should be dealing with right now.
Actually out of all Trumps appointments thus far I've been most impressed with Niki Haley. She's representing the U.S. very well in that cess pool known as the United Nations.

Unfortunately, that opinion is not shared by the MSM or the Liberals/Progressives.

Look, she sucks, it was an unsavory thing to say, she probably oughta be fired, yadda yadda, but she didn't make a real threat, she expressed a wish, and that's not illegal.
Many wish Nancy Pelosi (or Obama or McCain or...) would choke on their cocktails or get IBS or worse, but nobody in their right mind thinks that ought to be illegal or investigated.
No reason to "redefine free speech". No investigation is needed and everyone knows it, as no one sincerely believes it was a threat, because it wasn't. Unbunch your drawers a bit.
You're ire is at least partially misdirected. All mach and no vector, so to speak.

He is worse than nothing, he is actively damaging the Trump Administration with his antiquated ideas about marijuana (which also shows his lack of respect for states rights), the debacle with his decision to recuse himself, his unwillingness to champion meaningful reform of federal law enforcement (e.g., the FBI), and more.
He is a prime example of the shit that needs to be drained from the cesspool.
