I get choked up when I see President Trump praising people for their work and giving them credit, getting out and seeing problems first hand and taking his staff with him, discussing problems first hand with the players, downsizing Government and getting rid of dead wood, etc. We are so lucky he stepped up in this time of need.

Here is an interview with Roger Stone that really says it all about President Trump and is well worth the time to view. Roger Stone is the author of "The Making of the President 2016: How Donald Trump Orchestrated a Revolution"

The United States attorney for the Southern District of New York has decided not to pursue criminal charges against NY mayor de Blasio.

This is Preet Bharara's former office.

investigators had examined several instances in which the mayor and “others acting on his behalf” solicited donations from people who were seeking “official favors from the city, after which the mayor made or directed inquiries to relevant city agencies on behalf of those donors.”

“After careful deliberation,” the statement said, “given the totality of the circumstances here and absent additional evidence, we do not intend to bring federal criminal charges against the mayor or those acting on his behalf relating to the fund-raising efforts in question.

“Although it is rare that we issue a public statement about the status of an investigation, we believe it appropriate in this case at this time, in order not to unduly influence the upcoming campaign and mayoral election,” the statement said.

In his letter, Mr. Vance said the office’s conclusion was “ not an endorsement of the conduct at issue.”

that's nice. duh

“The transactions appear contrary to the intent and spirit of the laws that impose candidate contribution limits, laws which are meant to prevent ‘corruption and the appearance of corruption’ in the campaign financing process,” he wrote.

sounds a little familiar ?

"not to unduly influence" the upcoming election

Some of the stuff that got published about this case seemed pretty bad for de Blasio.

Just speculating, but I wonder if the decision not to charge de Blasio influenced the decision to not keep Bharara. (Assuming something so politically charged would have been pre-briefed thru the DoJ)

Looks like Trump will need to purge the intelligence agencies. A number of officials are giving him push back about his wiretap claims. Seems they have forgotten who butters their bread.

WH press briefing with OMB Director Mulvaney.

Director Mulvaney appears to be writing down the press questions, listening and providing answers in a very timely and succinct fashion.

And moves along quickly after answering ...

Sec Spicer serving it to the press swamp, on the subject of 'wire-tapping'.

In response to a question, Sec. Spicer started a response with ...

" ... for a guy who has zero intelligence ... "

That's a laugh from both perspectives ...

Gawd it was refreshing to watch that Q&A. Here was a guy just stating, matter-of-factly, what we all think regarding the shoveling of taxpayer moneys to BS programs.

"We're just not going to do it anymore."

I've been waiting to hear this my entire adult life.

"What about the children and the old people?"

"Too bad, so sad. What about the taxpayer and the $20T debt?".

A federal judge in Hawaii issued Wednesday a nationwide temporary restraining order on President Donald Trump's revised travel ban hours before it was to take effect.

U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson issued his ruling after hearing arguments on Hawaii's request for a temporary restraining order involving the ban.

His ruling prevents the executive order from going into effect Thursday.

Watson said he will not stay his ruling should an appeal be pursued. "The Court declines to stay this ruling or hold it in abeyance should an emergency appeal of this order be filed," he said.

Hawaii argued that the ban discriminates on the basis of nationality and would prevent Hawaiian residents from receiving visits from relatives in the six mostly Muslim countries covered by the ban.

The state also argued the ban would harm its tourism industry, as well as its ability to recruit foreign students and workers.

There is more judicial tyranny to warn you about. The latest - Judge Derrick Watson of Hawaii - he blocked President Trump's temporary immigration ban.

The president called Judge Watson's decision unprecedented judicial overreach.

Critics say it's a ban on Muslims. But that's not true. It's a ban on refugees from countries infested with jihadists.

What in the name of Don Ho is wrong with these people?

Judge Watson's decision puts all of us in grave danger.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions says around three hundred of the FBI's active domestic terror investigations involve people who came here as refugees. That's a lot of potential jihadists.

How many more Americans must die in the name of political correctness?

So I say send all the refugees to Honolulu. Every last one of them.

Let them put on a grass skirt, toss back a Mai-Tai and sing Tiny Bubbles on Waikiki Beach. Just keep them out of the Lower 48.

Aloha, America.

Supreme Court nominee Gorsuch will start Senate Judiciary Committee hearings next Monday.

Also on Monday, FBI Director Comey will publicly testify to the House Intelligence Committee.

***************
would be good if Comey started to restore some clarity to all of the wild accusations that have been going around

These plainly-worded statements, made in the months leading up to and contemporaneous with the signing of the Executive Order, and, in many cases, made by the Executive himself, betray the Executive Order’s stated secular purpose," Watson wrote. "Any reasonable, objective observer would conclude…that the stated secular purpose of the Executive Order is, at the very least, 'secondary to a religious objective' of temporarily suspending the entry of Muslims."

Applying that, er...logic,, if Pres Obama had issued the travel ban it would be fine. Huh??

Someone posted the Legislation that gives the POTUS the unilateral authority to do exactly what President Trump is doing. Unfortunately the picture of that post has been removed from the source. But it's right there in black and white for all to see that the POTUS can enact what President Trump is trying to do.

The problem is that the Lib-tards are CONVINCED it's Religious Discrimination (which they use to their own advantage) stating it's a "MUSLIM BAN". This has absolutely nothing to do with Muslims (as the sane folk understand) and EVERYTHING to do with terrorists entering our country. IDGAS if someone worships Amoebas...they shouldn't be allowed in this country if they can't be vetted and are PROVEN to come from a country that sponsors terrorism, REGARDLESS of their religious persuasion.
