I was listening to the FAA control center audio...

Pilot - "Flight control this is Ghetto Rat Done, er correction Ghetto Rat ONE - we have loaded the cargo, request immediate dust off"

ATC - "Ghetto Rat One - you are clear for take off, vector your departure to heading two five niner. Weather overcast, wind from the south at 8 knots. Planned transit time to insignificance is 47 seconds"

Pilot - "Copy flight control, time to take out the trash"

The Liberal son of one of my very Liberal cousins posted on FB yesterday how much Obama had meant to him as an example and how he will miss him. My response to him was "I am happy for you."

Since these are NOT peaceful protesters with 1st amendment rights, but rather paid criminal anachists, I wish they were dealt with in a manner that would send a message that their bullshit will no longer be tolerated. Snowflakes melt but commie socialist property destroying, assulters of innocents, anarchists should heavily bleed such that their $2500 stipends will not even come close to their medical bills.

... thousands are expected downtown Seattle this afternoon and over the weekend, for 'peaceful' protests ... given Seattle's history with agitators, let's see what some idiots are going to bring.

Attempting to march onto the I-5 freeway will not be allowed or tolerated.

They showed coverage of the a-holes trashing a Starbucks in DC.

There's irony in there, somewhere.

I think a great fine amount for these protesters would be about 3K, just enough that they all lose money on the exchange...

And he used the word "You" exactly---and perhaps not coincidentally---45 times.

I didn't catch the inauguration but just read the speech online.

Eyes were misty at the end.

Yes!, and unlike stompy-foot, President Trump did not use the "I" or "Me" words too many times, if at all.

That's what I thought.

What a refreshing change from now-former-President "It's All About ME"!

Can you do it with exit speech 2.0? I'd love to see the count on that bad boy.

You mean today's? Can't find it, but, his farewell speech in Chicago contains 40 "I"s and 12 "me"s

It was actually worse than that. In Exit Speech 2.0 in Chicago, Obama referred to himself 75 times (I, me, my, I'm, I've).

Exactly what I was thinking. She's half French, surely she can have half a glass!

For years, I have seen President Trump wearing only solid ties, never patterns, never stripes, never polka dotted, only solid ties. He loosened up sometimes during the campaign with patterned ties, and even appeared a few times sans tie.

I notice today that solid ties are more in fashion.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown
