I think it's photoshopped. There is nothing at all right behind the six aircraft. I understand the F414 engines don't produce a lot of smoke, but there is NOTHING, not even a heat signature.

Mark in MichiganJust about every other summer the Blue Angels are the star attraction at the Thunder Over Michigan air show. The show is held at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti. My house is like, 12 air miles from Willow Run. When the Blues are up and performing their demonstrations, I can hear the exhaust of the jet engines of the F/A-18 Hornets and it makes me wish I were closer to the airport so I could actually see the Blue Angels in the air…
So to see that picture of that billboard makes physically ill… geez, what the hell is wrong with people today?

The engines are F414 (as stated in 229DAK's post) in the Super Hornets.
It's not a photoshop, I have software from back in my IT days, for image analysis and it passes muster.
There are all manner of "noise" and things that present in most manipulations, and this shows none of them anywhere in the image.
The billboard is the actual billboard and I have seen other images of it from differing perspectives, as well as flyers and "protest: signs.

She absolutely killed it. If you find the whole story, you’ll learn the cat was 15 years old, had a long term heart problem, and she made the decision to euthanize it something like 2 weeks after the Blues were in town.
Just trying to cash in and figured now is the time to do it with them being back in town for SeaFair this week.
