Or do we have some sort of internet outage in a part of the country right now?

Sixty-seven members on the forum right now, when normally, we'd have about twice that many. Quite unusual. And 216 guests is also low. In the past, when DNS servers go down for a part of the country, we see this type of thing.

Looks like numbers are rising now. We must have gone away for a minute or two.

SIGforum is up 99.9999999999% of the time. We're rarely toast, 'cause our host is the most.

Internet working great here.

Schools around here have turned Easter into a 4-day weekend. Traffic was a breeze on the way to work this morning, but it was pandemonium when I tried to run an errand over lunch.

Perhaps Sigforumites ventured out of the bunkers and are stuck in 4-day weekend traffic?

To the best of my knowledge, no problems here. I was away from it from about 11:00 AM-12:30 PM (EDT).

I didn't notice...
but has anyone else had problems with the twitter-bedder?

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Yes I went to use that earlier today and it wasn't doing anything. It was up but did nothing when you pasted in a link to convert.
