Waterfalls...in Kansas
I was reading about the city of Salina, Kansas, when I ran across this website about waterfalls in Kansas.

Most people wouldn't think of Kansas having any waterfalls, but there are.

Interesting read.

That is a bunch more than I knew about, and I live in Kansas!

No kidding, I live 45 min from Salina and I have only seen a few of them, I will have to get out on the Harley and check some of them out.

Kansas is filled with beautiful scenery.

A Coast Guard shipmate from the 1970s (and later house mate) is from Salinas, Kansas. I went back to their family farm to help with wheat harvest.

Being from the Pacific Northwest, I was surprised how flat the area was and how clear the sky was at night seeing stars I thought I could touch ... and the insects flying that glow in the dark.

Now to read about waterfalls caught me by surprise. Those pics are beautiful ... and so many waterfalls.
