Out here, I avoid everyone at work. Everyone is crazy until proven otherwise.

Most times I see it that way too.

Take your advantage then years later go for more.

Or, try for more because you didn't get enough as it turned out

Or, take this opportunity to take down someone you don't like.

Isn't that the dictionary definition of "me too?"

One of the many reasons I'm glad I work from a home office.

A year before my dad retired they had a big meeting for one of the teams with corporate leadership. Everyone dressed up (suits). The VP commented to several of the guys that they looked sharp, and made the same comment to a woman. That afternoon she filed a sexual harassment suit against him for the comment. By the end of the week women could barely get men to look at them much less respond with more than a yes or now with eyes down.

There are unintended consequences

I had a very similar scenario 20-years ago. It was working retail at an outdoor shop so, we got to wear shorts. I was chatting with a female coworker and I complimented her shorts, 'cool shorts'; they were cargo's but not dumpy like most women's cargo shorts usually are. Our manager was within earshot and called me into his office. All the managers had just completed a sexual harassment training and my compliment on her clothing was grounds for a written warning for termination into my file. He explained the company could take no chances that a complaint or, lawsuit would not be filed and thus, they needed to establish the company was pro-active in all cases of possible offenses.

I walked out of the office with a look of shock, the gal who I made the comment to, ran up and asked what happened. I let her know and the rest of our shift, we both walked around with looks of confusion and frustration. We were both college students realizing what kind of world we were living in.

Exactly.

It forces men to act and not tell anyone.

And, it fosters MORE problems for women.

I was caught up in a bullshit sexual harassment claim back in the mid 90s. Out of the blue a coworker claimed I was contacting her outside of work and making unwanted advances. It was a 100% fabrication. The only time we were in contact outside of work there were multiple others present that we were both friends with and they all backed my version of events. After the investigation they boxed up this woman’s things and shipped them to her home with a warning to never return. It’s still infuriating to think about it.

^^^^^ And the problem is that there are probably more such incidents that don't exonerate the man because there were no others around to bear witness. A woman can pretty much make an accusation and it is up to the man to disprove the charge (innocent until proven guilty does not apply here, it seems); many times it is just impossible to disprove it and the man suffers.

It is no wonder that men are dating less often and fewer women--it's just too dangerous to do so.

Date? Who said anything about date?

The Kavanaugh case proves you can be accused 30+ years after you didn't even meet someone.

We both worked in a State Prison, she in records department and me in Custody. Her husband threw her out after finding out she was banging several coworkers.

I was one.

At her new assignment she got involved with a married man (coworker) and screw up his marriage, then filed a sexual harassment claim against him.

I don't know that outcome.

She was a classic example of "Bitches be crazy".
