i'm breaking a self imposed ban from the forum, to share with you all THIS:
I've been absent from posting for a while. It's not you, it's me.
The past few years have been very politically and emotionally charged for many people and many of us. That's ok.
Despite my love for you all over the nearly 20 years I've been a member here, I took a break because there were very serious disagreements I had with what at least what seems to be the majority here and again, that's ok.
Even if we disagree I still love you all and value all of your friendship.
Rest assured, I've still been reading all of your posts and keeping up with all of you for the past years and of course wishing all of you well.
With all of that said (I mostly said so because my name had been mentioned in multiple "where are they" threads)...
This video is HILARIOUS. Please watch it. I promise the membership here will like it. Even the minority of the membership who disagrees politically can appreciate that THIS is funny,

I suspect that’s true of many members who have stopped posting.
I keep reminding myself of the name of the forum and what it was evidently meant to be when it was founded: a place to discuss guns and shooting. That’s the main reason why I continue to be active to the limited degree that I am.

Para has done a good job of keeping politics out of non-political threads. It’s a big thing.
So engage where you want, and avoid what you want.
I would like to say that we should be able to discuss things respectfully with those with whom we disagree. But that is up to each of us to decide when and if we want to engage.
