Not a legal ramification, strictly speaking, but putting people in reasonable fear of great bodily harm/deadly peril in NC would let them use deadly force against you, legally.

One of those huge side discharge manure spreaders as often seen here in Iowa, loaded to the max with stinky stuff. I believe a single pass of pig poop on a hot day would disperse just about any crowd. Them suckers can sling crap about 150' when the tractor is wound up good. What the smell didn't get the slippery on the street would.
