I think I'm vote #9 for Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 on my F150. I was out of town last year when we got snow, but was looking forward to driving in it this year and they handled it very well. They are very quiet and stable on the highway.

Most of us drive on pavement, 98% of the time. Then in nearly all instances, those highway looking tires do fine in the woods.

Big lugs look ok, but can be noisy, slightly impede gas mileage. Yeah I’m an LTX fanboy, but I’ll deviate at times.

Right now my truck has 2 LTX tires & 2 Wranglers, same size. The 2 Wranglers were new, $205 shipped, one money. For that price, I didn’t need to buy Michelin.
