parabellumSenate passes the Skills-Based Federal Contracting Act, now awaits President Trump's signature
This will piss off the DEI crowd, with their horse shit four year degrees that they're essentially
awarded unearned without any chance of failing, as long as they're not White.
quote:
Education requirements can't go into a federal contract unless the contracting officer explains in writing why the agency's needs "cannot be met without any such requirement."
Veterans and others without a degree won't be forced back to college for a credential they don't want. No new student debt. GI Bill benefits preserved for their children.

I was originally trained in Clinical Laboratory Technology in the military. I had extensive training, expanding into histology and performing autopsies. I found that my background, sans degree, resulted in being paid 30% less than a newly graduated beginner, despite the fact I knew more and had certified military competences.
After I graduated with a BS in biology, I had no more Clinical skills, but much higher pay!
