Woodworkers: Best place online for non-Chinesium router bits?
Trying to avoid Amazon. Willing to pay more, just hoping it’s not ridiculous amounts more. Suggestions?

Look to see if you have a local tool store or a Woodcraft?

Luckily, I have a couple local tool stores. That's all they sell: Tools. All kinds of tools. One of 'em is dangerously close Razz

Or Woodcraft .com (no ers on the end)

We have a local Woodcraft store in Knoxville and the online site works well too.

You might have to do a search with Made in the USA included with the product.
I found several listings for bits.
Looking in the common places like Amazon or one of the big box stores might be hit or miss.
But if that is the perimeter along with price or whatever YOU are going to have to do the work.
Maybe someone here already had done that for you.
Good Luck.

Whoops! That's what I'd meant. Corrected. Thanks for the catch.

Somehow, I just got on the mailing list for www.MLCSwoodworking.com.

I'm a woodturner, so I don't use router bits that often, but these guys have more bits than I've seen from anyone else. Not specified where they're made, though.

IIRC Freud bits are made in Italy.

Available almost everywhere.

I know that Woodcraft has had that brand on sale in the past. I think I have a few.

Look at places like MSC Supply.
They usually offer 3 versions of a product, cheaper Chicom and others from reputable companies with varying prices.
Also do a search for the bits with "Made in USA" in the search box.

Closest Woodcraft is an hour away but the website could part me from a good bit of cash. There’s so many slick looking websites now, I wanted recommendations from people in the know than just a blind google search.

Thanks!

I have been using www.eagleamerica.com router bits for quite a few years now and they are excellent. They do have a showroom in Huntingdon Valley PA. The Eagle router bits are made in the USA. They recently started handling router bits by MLCS which sells for a lesser price. I have only purchased the Eagle router bits and they hold up very well. They do have a catalog of everything they sell.

I get my Whiteside router bits from https://Holbren.com. Good pricing and responsive to questions if you want to ask about provenance before ordering.
