So as not to hijack The Removal Of the Auntie J thread:
I have a recipe to duplicate the infamous mix:
2c self-rising flour
2c Bisquick*
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c Non Dairy creamer powder

To turn into a batter:
1 egg
8 oz of 7-up 1 3/4 c of the above dry mix
whisk until smooth.

* To make your own Bisquick:
8 c flour
1 1/4 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 T salt
2 c shortening
in a large bowl whisk all the dry ingredients together
Cut in the shortening until it resembles a coarse cornmeal store in an airtight container in a cool dark place.

makes about 10 cups of Bisquick.
