So the dog is controlling the subway train and the guy is talking on the phone and just announces the station name? This is comedy or what? I don’t get it.

Looking at his videos, my guess is he's a street performer.
In the first video, the dog is making all the stops while the motorman chats on the phone.

The conductor is having some kind of marital argument on the cell, whilst the shiba-inu dutifully reminds him to call out the stations at the correct moment (all popular destinations on Tokyo's central Yamanote Line).
(Not sure about the ending...he is telling the dog that it's a relationship sensō, "war", then gets confused and translates it half to English and calls out "Wartsuka" instead of Otsuka?)
While having fun with a couple of posts, I thoroughly enjoyed the dog. Might have a Shiba one of these days. I've said I'll never own another double coated dog again, but I've always admired the Shiba Inu.
Ah, well then that last station may have been his last station for the day before going home to war! Thanks, by the way - I'd heard about snakes and foxes before, but I guess 'squid' would be a new one to me.
