At the risk of asking the obvious, have you checked your Android camera setting to see if the Panarama setting has somehow been selected, instead of the normal camera mode?

Other than that suggestion, I'd be inclined to try another power down, then pull the battery for a minute or so, reinstall the battery, and repower up.

You might also check to see if all updates for the camera have been downloaded.

Do you have the G6? That's the one I have and I don't see anything in settings that would cause that issue. You may have to take it to a repair center to have it checked out.

Seeing that most folks use portrait mode when they should be using landscape, maybe that is a good thing? Wink

I’m wondering if it just downloaded a bad update.

You might try hooking it up to power and seeing if there is any update needed, assuming one hasn’t been done in awhile.

Good luck to you.

My iPad was doing that some time ago. I tried EVERYTHING under the sun, even stooping to take it to an Apple store to have them look at it. They couldn't get it to rotate either. A few days later, I was online looking to buy another refurbished one and it started working just out of the blue. To this day, I have no idea what was causing it to not rotate or what "fixed" it...

Is there a specific camera setting that's causing it?

On my S9+ android, from time to time the landscape/auto rotate function somehow locks itself.

I haven't found cause or cure, but a remedy for a few weeks till next time, on mine is to push the 'auto rotate' off & on a few times.

Good luck.
