I guess a first grandchild is worth a congratulations.

I've heard grandchildren are the payoff for not having killed your children.

Congratulations! To quote my mom - while I was standing right there - the only reason to have children is to have grandchildren! Not sure that's the only reason but she was not all wrong. Its the best!

My oldest grandchild will be six next week. I still have trouble wrapping my head around the concept that I am now a grandfather. I still think I am an immature 15 year old.
