Thanks for the heads up. My original is several years old and has been acting up lately. Been wanting to pick up a new one and this is a good deal.

They sent me a new one for $25 when mine (several years old) died, I sent it in pieces too.
Also bought an extra.
Nothing worse in cook than a dead Thermapen.

I purchased a Mark IV a few months ago when they were 15% off. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

We have the classic, a couple Thermopops, and the Chef Alarm.
I've ordered the Mark IV as a birthday present for our son who loves to grill.

Due to an extended thread here a few years ago, skepticism and all, I finally bought a Thermapen.

Now I don't know how I managed to get along without it.

It has brought a new level of enjoyment to the grilling reflex that plagues my clan.
