What's the best "New car smell" spray?

Whatever you do, do not use "Horny Tomcat", I had that applied in my 1964 Buick Special after leaving the driver's window down one warm Florida Panhandle night back in the summer of 19 aught 79...

(at least that hairy bastage is dead now...)

Hoppes #9 of course!!!

Actually I prefer Ozium spray. It’s a nice pleasant clean smell. Available everywhere.

I use the “New Leather” scent, but Wonder Wafers has a “Nu Car”

Shoot, I bought my 2019 Colorado 15 months ago and it still has that "new smell". I'm thinking it has to do with the leather.

Next you'll be hanging a scented pine tree cutout from your rear-view mirror. Smile

Jungle Gardenia would bring back fond memories for me, but you might be too young to handle something that good. Smile

If you have leather, Zaino leather conditioner smells incredible.

Holy smokes! Somebody must be airing out a new car in my shop once a month or so! Cool

Sex Panther. 60% of the time, it works 90% of the time.

In reality, the new car smell is really just a bunch of newly formed plastic aromas and compounds that havent had the chance to air out. Supposedly not really good for you.

I do enjoy the smell, but I cant help you with a source for replicating.

I know I am not helping, but for something to think about.

I know it's the new plastics that make that smell but I've never found any other plastics that gave off that particular scent.

Years ago I got a loaner pickup while my vehicle was being worked on. It smelled like someone had been peeing in the truck but I couldn’t find any spots that looked like they had been peed on. After a day or so I eyed that green evergreen tree hanging from the rear view mirror. I tossed it and with it went the smell of pee. How can anyone stand the smell of those things?
