By the time everybody pulls out their gun and starts shooting, he's already down.

Looks to me like the guy in the lower right portion of the frame uses the guy just in front of him as cover, then shoots the dope in the left side, causing him to drop his gun.

Yep. Easier to see on second video. Farthest guy back steps back putting the shelving between himself and the perp, and shoots over the shelf hitting perp. Everyone else was late to the party.
