AI photo enhancement app for iPhone?
Anybody have any experience with a good AI photo enhancement app?
My wife has a lot of older pictures which are fairly blurry of family members who’ve passed away, and just through the normal enhancement methods on my iPhone I’m not getting great results.

One of her friends recommended maybe an AI enhancement app might do a better job
Just curious if anybody has looked into this and have any experience, there’s so many bullshit apps out there I’m reluctant to start downloading and trying things.

Thanks for any suggestions?

What iPhone? Because newer ones have decent AI photo abilities already there, from Apple.

Haven't used these, but I have some old photos to try it on...

Don't freak out that I googled it, probably upset someone here Big Grin

For correcting old photos on iPhone, top apps use AI for automatic fixes like scratch removal, blur reduction, and colorization, with popular choices including RetroFix, FixMyPics, Renew, and Remini, while for more manual control, Photomator (with its repair tool) or even Snapseed offer powerful editing, with some apps offering free trials for AI features.

It is more likely that you will need to use other software than what is on the iPhone, meaning a real computer that accesses the iPhone library.

If you have iCloud storage turned on, and you have a Mac computer, you are on the right path.

Sadly, though, the best programs are subscription-based (what isnt?). The most commonly promoted program is called Topaz AI. Adobe Photoshop has AI, but who can learn that software? And, Adobe Lightroom has an onboard AI enhancement, which works pretty good, in my experience.

I am heading towards Topaz AI on a free seven day trial, then Photoshop, to see what I need for my thousands of not quite excellent images.

Like many of us, I have images that would be so very good to have for memories, that I just didn't quite capture properly. I hope AI will help them.
