Those ID laws that make getting a DL are not just FL, some are for federal compliance for travel, and it's everywhere, or perhaps you'd rather it be like NY where anyone can get a drivers license without paperwork, which auto registers them to vote....

If you don't do your homework and find out what you need beforehand it can be a pain for any transaction.

And Desantis didn't create the current DL laws, that was done years ago, and your local county runs the office that issues them.

As for immigration, most people know its a Federal issue, States are left to deal with the mess after it's landed in their lap, they can't do anything to defend the USA Federal Border, thats ICE... and Joe Buydem

I think it's an excellent move, so what if it's an election year, good for him, send some more, maybe a bus to the set of the View, buy them tickets, take up the whole show...

Of course leftists don't care that they are hypocrites - we see that in everything they do, from COVID protocols to carbon emissions.
