Bought my first new vehicle in 30 years on Monday. I got a 2019 Ford Ranger in Magnetic Grey, four wheel drive crew cab. I was looking for a used F150 but the Ranger just blew me away when I drove it. Here's hoping it's as good in the long run. I'll get some pics tomorrow, I hope.

Very cool. I hope you enjoy. I would love to hear a road report in a few months.

Can’t wait to see pics. I’d been eagerly waiting the release of the new Ranger. My plan right now is to pick up a 2021 model in a few years. Having sat in a few so far I’ve been impressed. Will be looking forward to your driving impressions.

My neighbors cousin came over earlier today with that same vehicle. Very sharp. He loves it so far. Big difference from his '96 Toyota Tacoma

Congrats!!!
I’m looking at a Ranger or a Colorado. Might buy an old ass Toyota. Not sure. Have to sell the Polaris Razor first. We will see. Smile

Yeah, really. It didn't happen without pictures.

I do believe that is a forum rule somewhere in the archives. Smile

We all like new cars and we all like pictures.

I saw my first one at the shooting range the other day of all places. It’s a good looking rig.

One of Ford's best ideas lately is building a Lariat-version Ranger. And it'll tow 7500 pounds with the right package.

Congratulations!

Wishing you many years of fun and safe miles in your new ride!!

If you were considering the Chevy Colorado as well, what drove your decision to go with the Ranger?

Cool!

Congrats on the new ride. I've heard a lot of good stuff about the Ranger. Let us know how it fits your needs.

I really wasn’t looking at The Colorado, simply because I was looking for a full size truck. But I tried out the Ranger just on a lark, and loved it. My son in law works for the dealership so I got D plan pricing plus about $2500 in rebates. So the choice was pretty easy.

I was looking at pricing locally on those. The crew cab 4x4 is way more expensive than I thought and I’m still having trouble accepting that vehicles cost so much. Low to mid 40’s for that Ranger puts it out of my range. It’s been a while but my last new Ranger was under 15.

September 2001, my Ranger XLT 5-speed with air conditioning Big Grin was $11,600. Quite a step up from a stripped 1991 Mighty Max, itself $7,200 new.
