My hypocrisy goes only so far

I've been looking at this product now that the weather has turned and as a way to encourage my wife to get in a little more time handling her CCW.
But I have no experience with it.
Does anyone have any experience using this product ???
I like that you use your carry gun vs the blue toy gun of the Laserlyte version I've seen & played with at my LGS.

Not the iTarget, but I have a Trainer Pistol Premium - LT-PRE and have so far really liked that. (Only tried it in my P229S, so far.)

Haven't decided on whether or not to get a target to go with it. So right now I just look for where the dot hits on a plain old paper target.

I have this.

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/pr...00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It has an app to record shots but I only tried that once, wasn't worth the hassle. The phone has to be set up within ~3 feet of the target and "sees" the hits with the camera.

I just pick a spot and shoot it, the "hit" is easy to see.

One of my buddies got one off a prize table. It seemed like a pretty cool little toy but the little laser bullet dohickeys don't last long. I would not spend money on it.

Well that's a shame, the life of the laser emitter was my only concern.

I’ve had an iTarget for about 6 months now and it runs great.
Dryfire at least 3 or 4 times a week and “compete” against my sons and friends on some weekends if it’s raining outside.

Overall I’m pretty happy with the product.
Only problem is the cats know when we set it up they want to chase the laser on the screen!

Grumpy... I have a couple of laser type training systems and this one is my favorite. Pretty intuitive.

Dryfly don’t those systems require live fire as the module really just analyzes how you break the shot, movement of the gun etc. on firing?

Are they able to be used simply dry firing?

Thanks,
Chris

Works totally fine dry firing or live, I put a small sticky target on the wall just for something to aim at.

I could use my P320 for Targetize, it has a rail; or my Tokyo Marui SigP226.
