Back to Ferguson..
Anti-Gun Democrat State Senator Arrested In Ferguson Carrying A 9mm
Jamilah Nasheed

Here’s an interesting story that somehow escaped the notice of the liberal media. A Democrat state senator from Missouri who’s anti-gun was recently arrested carrying one.

Ending the Fed News reported:

Anti-Gun Senator Jamilah Nasheed Arrested In Ferguson Carrying A 9mm

FERGUSON, Mo. – Missouri State Senator Jamilah Nasheed had a gun in her possession at the time she was arrested late on Monday outside the Ferguson Police Department, according to Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson.

Nasheed refused to comment about having the weapon ( a gun ), but did tell News 4 she has a concealed carry permit. A Ferguson police officer told us than in fact Nasheed was carrying a fully-loaded 9 mm handgun and additional rounds.

Sources also told News 4 Ferguson police requested St. Ann to issue a breathalyzer test at the time of her arrest because she “smelled strongly of intoxicants,” but Nasheed refused to do so. Nasheed said Tuesday she was not intoxicated at the time.

Nasheed was properly charged with Failure to Obey Lawful Order of Police and Manner of Walking in the Roadway. She was released from St. Ann jail before 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

Do you think this story would have gotten more media play if she was a Republican?

Crazed White Man with gun was confronted by police and was not promptly shot because he is a Republican state senator......and then the story would devolve into how blacks are treated so much differently in the same circumstance!

The problem with the story is that they are not anti-gun. They are anti-anyonebutthemcarryingagun. Two sets of rules. One for them and their cronies, one for the little people who serves them.
The rest is posturing.

Google is your friend. This story was reported in 2014. The OP's linked story doesn't provide a date for a reason; to make people think it's a new story and get them to link to it from other sites, like sigforum. It's a deceptive way to generate hits. When a "news" story lacks a date, further research is in order.

rusbro is right too... old story.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Absolutely. Removing dates from posts is an ongoing trick to boost hits for sites that simply copy and paste old news stories.

Evil exists. You can not negotiate with, bribe or placate evil. You're not going to be able to have it sit down with Dr. Phil for an anger management session either.

CA state senator, Don Perata was one of the states strongest anti-gun activists, wanted to rid the universe of such evil weapons. But it was once noted he regularly carried a Beretta 92. When confronted his response was something like "you never know when someone might take a shot at me, I need to defend myself".

No, because Republican or Demoncrat anyone who is Anti Gun is automatically given a free pass if they are caught illegally carrying a firearm. BTW, in every single state I know of carrying a firearm while intoxicated is illegal. Guess she also got a free pass on that particular violation because I didn't see anything about charges for carrying while intoxicated.

I've stopped counting.
