Mea culpa (thread rule violations)
Twice recently I have violated the rule against posting comments in the "meme" threads, and have properly been castigated by others for doing so. I have removed those posts as soon as I was made aware that I'd done so. I offer my apologies to the forum and to para for having sinned. I don't always remember what forum I'm on sometimes, and the other fora I frequent do not forbid comments in their meme threads, so I sometimes slip. I do not transgress intentionally, and I promise to be more careful on SIGForum.

Mea culpa. Mea maxima culpa.

You know. The ones with the stories starting “I’m a student at a small midwestern college, and I never thought anything like this would ever happen for me, but these girls at band camp....”

It’s a good thing the eagle periodically reposts the rules as necessary.

Yes. There are other gun fora, and I have a couple I visit and enjoy. I've been a member of one of them longer than my membership here. SF is my current favorite, but there are others I consider worth my attention. There are a few other members here who also go to that forum occasionally. SF is a great place, but it's not the center of the Universe.

(And yes, I aam getting "old". At age 82 one does not always keep in mind certain things.)

Yes, it was. The adaptation to film was not particularly good. The redeeming feature for me is that the movie is currently the top one in my ratings of muzzle flashes -- it had 1750 of them, some really nice ones.

I've been slapped a time or two. Its embarrassing as I don't willfully TRY to break the rules.

I like it here, hate when I screw up.

I hope every one here knows that I'd rather a fellow member help me out when I screw up.

I try to be a good neighbor when I can.
