Could not find what I was looking for, on line, for three weeks.

On the 15th , I must have searched perfectly , I found the item , at , of all places Wal Mart , Online.

( not available for store (pickup)

I goes ahead and orders one, online.
Keep in mind that I order stuff on line about three times per year. Big Grin

My first time ordering from Wal Mart , on line.

the next day ( the 16th) I get an E-mail confirmation notice.

ordered: 15th
will ship: 22nd
arrives: 28th ! Eek Big Grin

Could there be a Wal Mart on the moon ?
that this is coming from ?

I am in no hurry , makes no difference , but
the neighbor gets stuff in a day or three all week long .

seems odd.

It's because it is actually shipped from a different retailer "Wowparts". I've actually found a few hard to find parts (cabinet hinges etc.) on Walmart, but all Walmart does is list them for sale and does this with a lot of items, but they are shipped directly from a 3rd party vendor.

This is Walmarts attempt to challenge Amazon - Walmart as the middleman for other sellers.

Ya I ordered something a few days ago and it was being sent from some other place. 2 or 3 days later I got a got a call from Texas that they didn't have anymore and it would be a couple days for them to get it and send it. I cancelled it and bought elsewhere. It seems very much like they are doing what Amazon is doing, playing middleman.

Amazon uses 3rd party sellers also. I have an order for shave soap that won't be here until mid Sept.

Well, that's a bit odd, since the humerus bone is located in the upper arm. Hence, the name "funny bone". I guess I paid attention in 7th grade. Wink

Yes, Walmart doesn't cover you when third-party vendors screw up or sell you a counterfeit item. You have to deal with the vendor on your own. Stick with Amazon from now on.

Correction noted. I guess it's obvious that I never took Biology. Messed up a good (?) joke.

Big Grin

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
