Ammo2Go.com just published on their blog an interesting study that measured the sound levels of unsuppressed vs suppressed firearms. It has a lot of interesting information that is good to know if you ever get into a debate with an anti-gunnner. The upshot, which we already knew, is that suppressors offer a reasonable db reduction, but suppressed firearms are still louder than generally considered safe.
