Question about a member Login/Join

So I haven’t been active in a while but there used to be a member from Idaho on here who was a hunter, trapper, leather worker, etc. I know he was sort of controversial but he had some really neat guns and I’m wondering if either he’s still around or someone can give me his screen name so I can search old threads. Not looking to stir any hornets nest just would like to maybe sift through some old posts. It’s been a long time but any help is appreciated.

I know such quick correct answers are typical but first thought in my head was, "how the hell did he have the answer to that one?"

And I'm used to seeing someone post a blurred picture of a shadow asking what made it and someone will give the answer and identify the provenance of the thing even.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

The depth and breadth of knowledge of this forum is pretty amazing.

It's like, if you got together all the father and grandfather figures from every walk of life and every part of the country, and sat them all around a camp fire with a few beers in hand....

I remember the short trapper he had and made a flat metal “skeleton” stock. Very cool.

Ha!

He posted a lot of memorable hunting/trapping photos in the mountains and in heavy snow, and I just happened to remember the name because I watched for his threads and wondered what the username was referring to.
