DailyWire.com: Dianne Feinstein Not Running For Re-Election In 2024

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) announced Tuesday she is not running for re-election in 2024.

“I am announcing today I will not run for reelection in 2024 but intend to accomplish as much for California as I can through the end of next year when my term ends,” she said in a tweet.

Which of our members live in California, preferably San Francisco?

I bet you'd win using a "tough on crime" platform.

Maybe, but my bet is on a 'race to the left' wherein the wackiest candidate having name recognition runs away with the only nomination that matters in statewide contests there.

Did 20 years there, escaped 15 years ago. Wink

DailyWire.com: Dianne Feinstein Suggests She Did Not Know Her Staff Put Out Statement Saying She Was Retiring~

By Ryan Saavedra

Feb 14, 2023

WASHINGTON, DC - FEBRUARY 14: Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) is surrounded by reporters as she heads to the Senate Chamber for a vote in the U.S. Capitol on February 14, 2023 in Washington, DC. Feinstein announced Tuesday that she will not seek re-election in 2024

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) responded to questions from reporters about her announced retirement on Tuesday by suggesting that she did not know her staff published the statement.

“I am announcing today I will not run for reelection in 2024 but intend to accomplish as much for California as I can through the end of next year when my term ends,” Feinstein wrote on Twitter. “Even with a divided Congress, we can still pass bills that will improve lives.”

“Each of us was sent here to solve problems. That’s what I’ve done for the last 30 years, and that’s what I plan to do for the next two years,” she added. “My thanks to the people of California for allowing me to serve them.”

When asked about her decision to retire, Feinstein appeared confused by the question.

“I haven’t made that decision,” she told reporters. “I haven’t released anything.”

One of her staffers told her that they “put out the statement.”

“You put out the statement?” she reportedly responded. “I didn’t know they put it out.”

Feinstein on her retirement: “I haven’t made that decision. I haven't released anything.”

Staffer: “We put out the statement.”

Feinstein: “You put out the statement? I didn't know they put it out.”

“It is what it is,” she told reporters. “I think the time has come.”

The Senator then told reporters “It is what it is. I think the time has come.”

Democrat candidates are already chomping at the bit to replace the 89-year-old, with Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA) having announced campaigns for the seat.

Looks like her staff pushed her out on an ice floe in the company of a very hungry polar bear.

The real question is, does she know that votes are being cast in her name and who is actually making those decisions?
Uncle Joe seems to be doing something similar without being the one actually making the decisions.

Considering that her constituents have consistently voted her back in office, I expect her replacement to be just as Lefty, if not more so. Shiff should be put in jail before he could run.

Feinstein: "Gah gah goo goo" (farts, drools on herself, walks into wall)

Sen. Dianne Feinstein appears unaware of her retirement announcement during reporter gaggle

I should feel sorry for her, but, ya know what? I don't. Not one single bit. It is apparent she should have retired years ago. Good riddance, ya freakin' vegetable, ya walking freakin' carrot.

"But, Para, that might happen to you someday!"

Yep, it surely might, but if it does, I'll sunset without having spent DECADES doing every evil thing I can to damage this nation. She can FOAD and I don't care.

Swalwell running for her spot? Didn’t she have a Chinese spy driving her around? Didn’t he have an ongoing affair with a Chinese spy? Nothing happens by accident with the evil Left.

Oh damn, I really wanted to see her smack Schifferbrains' privileged white male ass around all over the campaign trail.

Let's hope the campaign to succeed her as the nominee turns into the political version of a riot.

The fact that politicians can hold elected office without some kind of annual cognitive test is absurd. People like Biden, Feinstein and Fetterman couldnt get drivers licenses in their current state.

4-5 regions control national election results in CA. San Diego, LA, San Jose, SF and Sacramento. These places are the ones that tipped the state blue for Hillary and Joe these are the same areas that will decided on a DiFi replacement.

Make no mistake about it: CA is blue and not matter who the Dem candidate is, the will be soundly blue. All we're talking about is the degree of how much blue.

The known candidates:

Katie Porter - She liberal and about has weird as they come. She announced first but just isn't likeable and has some shady stuff in her background such as subsidized housing as part of her "teaching" contract, even though she has taught in a long time.

Adam Schiff - just unlikeble to the point that Gov Newsom refused to appoint him to fill the seat vacated by Harris who because VP.

Salwell - Just a putz.

Lou Correa - He's actually a moderate Dem who bucks his party more than you think. Very popular in his district and well-respected by all parties. I'd like to see him run and he deserves serious looks but the rest of the state still votes wacky blue.

Maybe now she'll admit the dirty tricks she played on Justice Cavanagh. Nope, she'll take it to her grave and God will sort that out.

Better would be she stays, and her vote on some left bill is the deciding vote and she has a heart attach before her vote can be tallied.

If you live in CA this news is about as exciting as watching a leaky faucet drip. She’s going to be replaced by either Schiff or Porter. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss kind of thing. Remember who replaced Barbara Boxer? For those who don’t follow closely, I’ll give you a hint. She’s a current VP.

CA is bluer than black.

All of the fucked up shit going on in this country is a direct result of CA politics, specifically San Francisco politics. 20 years ago, SF politics was considered isolated and completely nuts, but it is now the mainstream.

"Tipped the state blue for Hillary". Republicans haven't won a presidential election in CA since 1988, when Bush ran on the coattails of Reagan. It's been blue ever since.
