This is the watch from David's recent karma. I liked the watch so much that I just bought one from David and had it delivered a couple days ago.

I am old and slow trying to figure out how to setup this new fancy watch and found this video that made the process easy ...

Thought I would share.

Thanks again to David for a very easy and fast transaction. David and I just had a great telephone conversation. What a pleasure to chat with.

That's a badass watch. I'm super tempted to pick one up myself.

Old Dino,
Thank you for posting the G-Shock Tutorial.
I just purchased a Casio G-shock GST B300-S1A
and am still having a challenging time with the initial setup. It's still 12hours behind before correct Date/Day appears.

I think the setup for the Casio watches are similar. Basically what I learned on mine is the top left button "turns on" to adjust. The bottom left button changes the mode to what it is that I want to adjust, and the two buttons on the right are for moving the mode you are in forward/backward or up/down. When done, press the upper left adjust again to exit.

Hopefully same for your watch.

That guy's Youtube channel is a good one for any watch nerd, but his videos on operating G-shocks are especially handy. Casio's manuals are pretty good, too, unlike a lot of Japanese makers' manuals for electronics.

Nice watch. I have been tempted by that one in particular.

I am sir ... and what is surprising to me is how comfortable it is, I hardly know that I am wearing it.
