It's VERY refreshing as a LEO to see someone who files false, sworn statements against an officer get jammed up like this.
I have had a woman accuse my partner and I of raping her... in car video determined that was a lie. Her response was, "well if they drop my charges, I'll forget about it." She was not charged with filing false complaints.
I had a man who was legally detained file a complaint that when I ordered him to put his hands on the hood of my car, it burned his fingers to the point of nerve damage that required medical attention. I caught wind of the pending complaint investigation and told internal affairs to look at the dash camera footage from the incident five minutes prior. There was a 15 year old girl who had runaway from home leaning on the hood of my car waiting for her mom to come pick her up (bare arms on the hood). No charges on him either. He sued the city, but I never heard what happened with it.

All's well that ends well. Good thing the police officer had a body camera and the tenacity to press the case and get this woman charged.

It is sad when we need cameras every-freaking-where to refute the mountains of bullsh*t people manufacture every day.
Maybe we can finally start to see less of this kind of accusation being used as a weapon.

When I was growing up most people learned at a very early age that there are consequences to your actions. Seems she learned a little late... and the hard way.
Better late than never i reckon.
Love it!

The only unfortunate part, she is now likely unemployed and collecting from the taxpayers of Dekalb County.
Idiot. Kept your mouth shut and stayed out of it you’d still maybe have your job and wouldn’t be a felon. These people are crazy. Fucking with the police never turns out well. I love how she’s trying to hider her face in court She should be required to pay more than $500. It cost more than that for the court proceedings to the taxpayers.
What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

"She's glad to move on and put this all behind her," per the liar's lawyer.
Did you, Mr/Ms Attorney explain to her that this will never be behind her? Did you explain to your client the implications of being a convicted felon?
Not to worry, I guess. She can just ask any number of her family members what going through life as a felon is like.
The squeaky wheel gets the grease, lady. Too bad for you that you were never taught this fact, and that you had to learn it so late in life.
And all of this for what, you vindictive, amoral bitch? Your shriveled little ego? See ya, genius.

I love a story with a happy ending. Good job LE officer going after her for filing a false report. I wish Le agencies and officers would do that more often.

Excellent outcome. Anyone trying to pull shit like this to our LEO should be sent to jail, or given the maximum penalty allowed by law. She tried to get an officer fired. An officer of the law who is doing his job. Good for the officer.
