Looking for Micro Chest Rigs like Haley Strategic

Black92LXLooking for Micro Chest Rigs like Haley Strategic
Would love to just grab something from Haley but they seem to be perpetually sold out.
I would like a simple micro chest rig that will hold 3 AR mags, two pistol mags, and then a decent size pouch for some med stuff and gloves mainly. Needs to be black and made in the USA.
Not looking for a plate carrier. We switched to a uniform style plate carrier so I have soft armor and rifle plates already but the carrier has no provisions for attachments.
I don’t want the molle placard style where you have a base then add a bunch of pouches.
They Haley is very intriguing because it small without a bunch of extra fabric I also like the idea of adding the flat pack. Don’t foresee the need but would like the option.
It’s pretty much perfect for what I am
wanting but no one seems to have them in stock. The only places that do don’t look legit, are airsoft sites, and eBay which I am guessing are fakes.
Shellback Tactical makes one but not in their US made line and it seems a lot more bulky compared to the Haley

CooksterTake a look at Hill People Gear, as their products have been recommended here over the years.
Their chest rig line is called "Kit Bags" -
https://www.hillpeoplegear.com/Products/CategoryID/1According to an internet search, most of their products are designed, sourced, and manufactured in the U.S.A. -
"are the kit bags made in the usa
Yes, all Hill People Gear Kit Bags are proudly made in the USA.
They are sewn domestically by HPG's primary manufacturing partner, First Spear, which operates production facilities in Missouri. In addition to the assembly, the heavy-duty 500D Cordura nylon fabric, buckles, and zippers used to build the bags are also sourced from American suppliers."

RogueJSKOffbase Supply Co. has the Haley Micro rig in stock in Black, and they're good to go:
https://offbase.co/products/ha...-d3crm-micro-placardThey also have the H-harness in black in stock:
https://offbase.co/products/ha..._sid=4f397cbaf&_ss=rUnfortunately, they're sold out of the triple AR insert, so you'll have to source that part elsewhere:
https://offbase.co/products/ha..._sid=7b8a6728a&_ss=rOr the Haley Micro rig and triple 5.56 insert are both in stock at OP Tactical (also good to go), but you'll have to source the H-harness elsewhere:

Practically nothing from 5.11 is made in the US. Their stuff is from places like Cambodia, Vietnam, Nicaragua, or Bangladesh.
5.11's subsidiary Beyond Clothing is their Made In USA arm for government contracts that must be Berry compliant, but they focus on clothing and don't offer a chest rig.

Flatline Fiber Co. will have everything you're looking for, but they are in Georgia and make top-quality gear.

flesheatingvirusThat sucks. I have the HS Micro and am very happy with it. If you manage to snag one, I'd recommend getting the H-harness adapter. It is MUCH more comfortable than the X-harness that comes with it. I got the side panels, too. I like the extra space they offer and how they make the whole setup a bit more "secure" feeling.
Keep an eye out! I wish HS had a function where you'd get an email when they get back in stock.

Unfortunately, the Haley rigs no longer come with anything but the base placard. No harness. No inserts. It's all sold separately now.
So you have to buy the X or H harness separately regardless. But yes, the H harness is definitely the way to go.
(What used to be a good deal at ~$130 a few years back for a complete Haley chest rig kit is nowadays a questionable deal at $225+ after you piecemeal purchase the constituent parts... But clearly they're not hurting for willing buyers since it's routinely sold out.)

flesheatingvirusWell, shit! I just saw that on their website that it's all piecewise now. How long have you been seeing it as out-of-stock? Tried calling them to get a rough ETA?
I do recall having to wait a bit for the black to become available, but I don't think it was more than a month or so of watching.

RogueJSKNo need to call for an ETA. I posted a couple legitimate online stores with it in stock in my initial reply.
So while the Haley webstore itself may be out of stock, it's currently available at some retailers.

Very good slings and other accessories but, I don't believe they make chest rigs.

Yes, formerly out of Oceanside most business was with the reconnaissance Marines out of Pendleton and SEALs in Coronado circa 1999. If I recall, the owner got busted with stolen arms & munitions from the base, and wife got the business in the divorce retaining the SOE business name. I've got several SOE items to include harness/rigs and holsters. With legal issues in the past, he moved to Tennessee and rebuilt his business into OSOE...while the items were innovative early on, several generations of tactical designs have passed and looks like his business is focused around private shooters.
Back to OP:
I'm a fan of
Velocity Systems formerly Mayflower R&C, they were one of the early innovators of using lightweight materials and stripping away excess features.
Spiritus Systems has a number of options,
Ferro Concepts is another popular option but their assortment is limited.
Hill People Gear is more prepared-citizen/hunt focused and their chest harness' have been popular
Don't sleep on
Blue Force Gear, they were big during GWOT making their name with pragmatic pouches and slings, they have a few small chest rigs that might fit your needs.
FHF Gear more known for their bino-harness also makes a few chest rigs.

Black92LXThanks for all the suggestions the RDR gear looks like a solid option but I also found a company called HRT Tactical and they have the Maximus placard. I like the fact that it has two smaller pouches on the front instead of one larger, should help with organization. Also it includes all the inserts you just buy the harness separate. So you should be all in for about $170.
Also, I think you could likely incorporate Haley’s flat pack if you wanted. Might just have to swap buckles on the HRT.
Unfortunately they are out of stock on their black. But they have a notify me option so we’ll see if I get notified any time soon.

I have only started looking this go round for a few days.
I was looking at plate carrier setups a couple years back and went with an LBT because the Haley stuff was out of stock then and all the rifle hardware I have which is likely just BCM just with a Dragonfly on it was always out of stock. Though it appears they don’t really do rifle accessories anymore.
Also, I believe the H harness has been discontinued and replaced with the Alpha harness.

Are you referring to the MOD harness? I just ordered this, along with their MOD side saddles with the First Spear tube adapters.
If I like them, I won't need the side saddles that I got for the Micro rig. If you think they may be compatible with your new rig, and you are interested, let me know. They are black, btw.

Bit of a fan of Gene’s work. Never used as I only have an indoor range. But bought with the idea they would be actual grab and go ready once I get to my final house for retirement.
