Any Gordon Lightfoot fans?
I've listen to some Gordon Lightfoot over the years, particularly The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

All my kids are Gordon Lightfoot fans as a result.

Recently, my 7-year-old grandson asked me to play The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. It seems its one of his favorite songs. Razz

Very nice! You did this song very well. Gordon has been one of my favorites for at least 45 years.

Thanks fellas. I've touched on others of his, but none to the point of recording anything.

Especially like his version of Ian Tyson's Red Velvet.

That was very nice ... thanks for sharing ...

Lightfoot - Sundown, If You Could Read My Mind, and Croce ... take me back to another place, time and feelings.

No, I never was a fan. Just too mellow for me.

Good job 6guns. You’ve come a long way grasshopper.
Saw Gordon in concert about time of Sundown album. Had excellent seats up front. Really good concert.
There’s a good docu on his life within the last year. I think it’s called ‘If you could read my mind’. He really loved that girl, Kathy Smith, that shot up John Belushi. Doesn’t explain why they broke up. She must have had some redeeming qualities at one point.
