I just happened to look at Facebook Marketplace and found someone who was giving away tools, specifically a Craftsman 19.5 volt cordless drill, circular saw, reciprocating saw, seven batteries, the charger and a corded drill FOR FREE! All I had to do was go to his house and pick them up. Just wow! He said that the the wife was wanting him to clear out some things in the garage and that he was done with them anyway. WOOHOO, it's like early Christmas! I just happened to have an unused Stanley toolbox that the saws and drill fit into, the batteries came in a Bosch zippered bag.

Oh, I don't know, I think it's more that even a blind pig finds a truffle once in a while.

Good for you!

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Well, I didn't see a weird looking kid with a banjo sitting on the porch. And nobody brought up a "purty mouf", so I figured that I was safe. Probably.

That is a nice "Free " find if they came with at least 1 good battery and charger.... If not sometimes it is cheaper to buy the complete tool w/battery & charger than to purchase a battery or two by themselves.. Still a nice find...................... drill sgt.
