We are due to leave on Monday for a trip to Florida, forecast on one channel is 80% chance of snow tomorrow another says rain.... Whatever, we have a good supply of food and lots of wood for the stove and the kids can wait another day or two. | |||

It's gonna be a mess. Lands End just had (maybe still is having) a 50% off sale. Last week I bought the 2 kids snow bibs, good winter coats, and duck-style snow boots for something like $200 out the door. Of course, it'll all be here Tuesday  And guess who's first shift of his new gig starts this weekend!  Gonna be interesting for sure.Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here. I have a pork shoulder and a chicken in the Traeger. Getting ready for the shutdown. Not really going to be an issue but this is m first winter in Alpharetta. HA Looking forward to being home and not traveling. Spent November in Mandeville LA and Tampa. | |||
