My brother lives in Charlotte and I'm sure this will be a real shitshow as just a couple inches can shut that area down, let alone a foot to 18 inches.

Are you North Carolinians ready?

Bum rush the stores for your milk, bread and eggs like they do up here in Philly! Big Grin

I'm supposed to meet a customer up in Lenoir next Wednesday. He asked to to call before I come up since they may still be dealing with outages.

Shouldn't affect me too much here on the east side of Raleigh.

Bread, milk and eggs...
because when it snows everyone is required to make French toast!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

What! You guys aren't picking up bacon? Bacon and booze will get you through anything mother nature throws at you. Big Grin

The milk is to make hot chocolate for kids at our studio.
I don't think the parents would appreciate the booze, lol.

It's gonna be a mess.

Lands End just had (maybe still is having) a 50% off sale. Last week I bought the 2 kids snow bibs, good winter coats, and duck-style snow boots for something like $200 out the door.

Of course, it'll all be here Tuesday Roll Eyes

And guess who's first shift of his new gig starts this weekend! Eek Gonna be interesting for sure.

The last couple of days there were places in the Yoop that received 12+ inches. Here in MQT, we are about 2 feet above average for this time of the year.
No panic reported. Good luck, NC!
