Like Elijah Comings or this guy?
I did not and will not. These were self serving SOB's that made a career and a corrupt living in Government.

But, 30 days for a president. Most in memorial and in the case BHO - in celebration.

marksman41The flag in my yard never dips - not for anyone, anything, or any day. I say a prayer and give thanks on Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Veteran's Day, but the flag stays raised, always. I know it's not according to code but I got fed up with the constant half-mast during the Obama years, many of which were not warranted according to the code, so what's good for the goose...

bigwagonThe half-mast flag situation has gotten out of control. It's not an exaggeration that I see some places with their flag half down more often than fully raised.

low8optionI only fly mine at half mast for people I admire and respect, over 95% of time that it has been lowered it was for a veteran.

flashguyI am not able to fly my Flag at half-mast, due to the construction of the pole (it's a "garage" pole at 45°). I do have a black streamer that could be fastened to the pole instead, but it is too hard for me to do it, so it usually doesn't get done.

sig sailorI have no flag pole just a flag coming off the porch at 45 degrees, so can not lower to half mast. If I did have a proper flag pole, it would not be lowered to half mast for that SOB Conyers or Comings!
