Going to try this again. My daughter's shift at Publix was over at 3:30 today. None of this was there when I drove past on my way to Publix. My wife drove through as the deputies were arriving. She said she was speeding, a deputy put his lights on, she pulled over, and two deputies got out with shotguns. Her first thought was, "I wasn't going THAT fast!" They waved her on. The video is me and my daughter: The rifle looked like a heavy barrel AR with no flash hider. I stopped counting police cars because I was starring at this deputy trying to figure out what he was doing. If you turn up the volume, you can actua.ly here a deputy on a PA saying "Come out with your hands up!" just after I express my surprise about the deputy with the rifle. Apparently, this incident is related to a shooting at a WalMart a few miles away. I guarantee my wife will never let my daughter walk to work after this. Here's a local news link with more video that happened after I drove through: LinkThis message has been edited. Last edited by: trapper189,

If I ever see that many LEO at any one spot, I'm changing directions. I wouldn't want to be hit by stray bullets. Plus, I'd feel my presence might be a distraction to them.

Yeah, you are a breath of fresh air. From my experience, I can be right in the middle of that, and someone will pull up and want to ask directions to the Dollar Store, or ask “can I turn right there?” Or want to know if I know soandso who’s a cop in England. Never underestimate the ability of stupid.

Back in 2023, we had a 50+ y/o-ish neighbor, living at home, catty-corner across our T-intersection in our neighborhood, off his meds and doing some weird shit. Elderly, scared mom called the cops and jerk refused to come out. A neighbor two doors down came out and told police he owned a gun (rifle, although it later turned out to be an air rifle). Cop cars literally flew in. Local, state and Federal agencies. I stopped counting various agency police cars parked up and down the street at 25. Cops with AR-15s and ballistic shields walking around. All sorts of fun on a Saturday morning. He was back not long later, police called again, and he assaulted one of the cops. We didn't see him again for months.... _________________________________________________________________________ “A man’s treatment of a dog is no indication of the man’s nature, but his treatment of a cat is. I have fairly good eyesight to have identified 6 out of 8 vehicle, then a 7th before I got there, a 9th showed up just as I did. You can see him on the right waving me through and hear him saying “Go, go, go.” I really thought it was a car accident and didn’t see the guy with the rifle until there was nowhere else to go. I did hightail it out when the deputy said go. Dashcam says I hit 43mph. I had zero interest being there with my daughter and zero interest being in the way. The house the deputies were interested was next door to the one on the corner on the side street, so we weren’t really in the way. The deputy with the rifle was covering the fence line of which only about 20’ shared a corner of the lot the house sits on. Here’s the story from the Sheriff’s Office (pics of the suspects in the link): April 13, 2025 – Port Charlotte, FL Two people are in custody and there is a warrant for the arrest of the shooter following an incident in the parking lot of a Port Charlotte Walmart. Just after 3pm on Saturday, April 12, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting that someone had fired several shots at another person in the parking lot of Walmart on Murdock Circle. Deputies arrived and secured the scene before calling for the Major Crimes Unit to investigate. Multiple spent casings from a 9mm firearm were located in the parking lot. Major Crimes Detectives arrived and met with the victim, who stated that he and his girlfriend were shopping inside the Walmart store when they were approached by Anthony Mojica (03/17/2005) and another person who is 16 years old. (Mojica is familiar to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office with several arrests dating back to 2018.) According to the victim, Mojica has “had it out” for him since a previous disagreement. As Mojica approached the victim, he flashed a firearm in his waistband and stated, “You know what time it is” and walked away. Following this, the victim and his girlfriend decided to leave the store, not knowing where Mojica went. As they arrived at their car in the parking lot, a blue Toyota 4Runner pulled up next to them and Mojica and the 16-year-old jumped out, prompting the victim to run back to the store. They began to chase the victim before getting back into the vehicle, driven by Mojica’s girlfriend, Amy Leiva (05/19/2004). At that time, Mojica fired approximately six shots at the victim out of the passenger side window before the vehicle sped off. No shots hit the targeted victim; however, a bystander reported that she had been struck by debris from the wall where the bullets hit. She was checked by EMS and did not sustain any physical injuries. The store’s security footage was reviewed, which corroborated the facts provided by the victims. “While I am thankful that nobody was hurt in this senseless incident, I am angry that it happened at all and that innocent bystanders were in harm’s way. The individuals who instigated this will be held accountable, and the shooter knows he cannot hide from us. We will find him, and he will face the consequences of his reckless and evil behavior.” SHERIFF BILL PRUMMELL Following this, the blue 4Runner was located by patrol deputies in the driveway of Leiva’s residence on Ott Circle. Mojica and Leiva were observed outside the residence but fled inside when they saw the marked vehicles. Deputies began to establish a perimeter, but were informed by neighbors that the pair had run out of another exit and jumped a fence to escape. The 16-year-old was located at the residence and transported to be interviewed. A short time later, Leiva was located at a gas station nearby and also transported for interview. Both the 16-year-old and Leiva provided inconsistent details about the incident at Walmart. However, each did confirm that Leiva was driving and that a confrontation occurred, with the 16-year-old confirming that Mojica was the one who fired the gun. Both the 16-year-old and Leiva were arrested for their respective parts in the incident, with Leiva being charged with accessory after the fact (2nd degree felony) and the 16-year-old charged with simple assault (misdemeanor). A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Anthony Mojica on charges of aggravated assault, aggravated battery, discharging a firearm from a vehicle within 1000 feet of a person, and shooting into a building. If he is seen, please call the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number (941) 639-2101. Link Picture of the suspect currently on the run, I’d suggest a stakeout of the condiment aisle: ![]() Quick internet search says this will be the guy’s 4th firearms offense and second drive-by shooting. Maybe officers will get to PIT the guy again and get him for some more drug offenses again. ![]()

This post was video of the guy's two county, 100mph+ chase by the FHP from 6/20/2024. Unfortunately, I messed it up trying to post his latest 100mph+, two county chase in the post below this one. After this particular chase, he was arrested for DUI, wreckless driving, firearms posesion in the commission of a crime, 6 different schedule I drugs, 360 grams+ of MJ, intent to distribute, etc. He was out of jail in three days enabling him to commit his second drive by shooting which lead to the response I captured in the first post. And they got him, again after another 100mph+ chase and another PIT. I don't know how the law enforcement types keep doing the job when people like this keep getting let go. Shooting Suspect, Anthony Mojica, Arrested After High-Speed Pursuit April 17, 2025 – North Port, FL The suspect of a shooting in a Port Charlotte Walmart parking lot was arrested in North Port after he led law enforcement on a high-speed chase. Just before 1:00am this morning, Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office STAR (Strategic Targeted Area Response) deputies were in the area of Camilla Lane due to receiving a tip that a wanted violent felony suspect, Anthony Mojica (03/17/2005), was hiding out there. While watching the area, they observed a white Nissan Altima being driven by Mojica. As one of the deputies caught up to the vehicle and activated his emergency lights, the Nissan swerved into the opposite lane, turned off its headlights, and took off at a high rate of speed. The deputy initiated a pursuit, which was assisted by the North Port Police Department as it entered their jurisdiction. The pursuit reached speeds over 100MPH on the mostly empty streets, with the Nissan often driving on the wrong side of the road in its efforts to escape. As the pursuit continued onto I75 Northbound, the vehicle swerved in and out of lanes to prevent law enforcement from attempting a PIT (Precision Immobilization Technique) maneuver. At times, the vehicle exceeded speeds of 120MPH on the interstate. Near mile marker 180, the front tire of the Nissan began to deteriorate, caused by the successful deployment of stop sticks by NPPD, resulting in the vehicle slowing to around 65MPH. With the speed reduction and an opportunity with little to no traffic around, a PIT maneuver was then utilized to stop the vehicle, finally coming to rest near mile marker 182. Once the Nissan was stopped, deputies and NPPD officers gave lawful commands to the occupants to exit the vehicle. Mojica and a juvenile female passenger exited, with Mojica placed under arrest. There were no other occupants in the vehicle and no injuries reported. Inside the vehicle, law enforcement located a handgun with extended magazine as well as a black bag with suspected narcotics and additional ammunition. Mojica is being held at the Sarasota County Jail on charges related to the pursuit and will face his Charlotte County charges following. Video of the pursuit and PIT maneuver can be viewed below. The entire pursuit lasted approximately twelve minutes and thirty seconds; the video is trimmed down for time.

Page late and a dollar short |
1973 I got literally in the middle of a police situation in Detroit, yeah shocked aren’t ya? A couple of friends and I were out in my brand new car, literally still on a dealer plate as I bought it that morning. On Michigan Avenue heading to a Corktown bar, near old Tiger Stadium, Michigan and Trumbull area. Three or four Detroit, a couple of them Tactical Mobile Units came up from behind, I pulled over to let them pass. A few blocks up I now see they had Michigan Avenue closed off, about the same time I realize that there are more DPD’s behind me and they’re stopping behind me and closing off the street. No sooner I hit the brakes and hear several shots. Rapidly we made a U turn and got the hell out of there down a side street. -------------------------------------—————— ————————--Ignorance is a powerful tool if applied at the right time, even, usually, surpassing knowledge(E.J.Potter, A.K.A. The courts, by their actions, are letting the citizens know that they're not going to do anything to stop the lawlessness of Mojica and his type. I guess it is going to be left to the citizens to enforce law and order. Of all the enemies the American citizen faces, the Democrat Party is the very worst.
