Someone got my wife’s ssn back in 2024 and got a loan with it. She’s been fighting collections for a year now and has submitted a Loan Discharge Application. Correspondence back is asking for a court ruling confirming she was the victim of fraud. We have not filed a police report or been through an hearing but now we have 30 days to respond. What a joke.
