So I had planned to sand the chipping and flaking grey paint off the ceiling and repaint.
Well, sanded the ceiling and hot damn does it look good just sanded, did not expect that. I’d like to put a clear coat on it to keep it protected. What should I use? I don’t want to add a wetness or shiny sheen to it.

Target coatings (online only). Their stuff is great, call and see if there's any coupon codes for free shipping.

2nd edit... I don't know what product I'm thinking of; second guessing myself. but it's Target. Would be best to call them and ask what's best for that application. Usually the owner/formulator, Jeff answers.

That does look nice.
