And that's why I won't get mine; thanks for posting this.

I’m usually a month or so early on my renewals. I’m pretty sure my membership has never lapsed. Oh well, I guess if a ballot is not in my February issue of American Rifleman, I’m not going to get one. Maybe snail mail? I don’t check my snail mail more than once a week unless I’m expecting a package.

Not in the February issue. Online voting maybe?

I called member services, they said it would be coming in a white envelope, from some accounting firm.

Yep. Big white envelope. Just got mine today. Went thru this thread and voted for some mentioned in this thread and several that I was already familiar with. Totaled only 8 votes. Not that I need to vote for the limit of 27. I won’t vote for someone just because they are on the ballot.

I'm out of town for a few days, when are the ballots due back in?

I recently switched from paper magazines to the electronic version. Hope they will be mailing me a ballot. I have not received one yet.

Historically, the ballots are administered by Deloitte & Touche and come directly from them, NOT THE NRA itself(Maybe I missed something, could have swore they were traditionally distributed by D&T...). But according to the NRA, they are being distributed with the February NRA magazine this year. Regardless, I believe they are mailed to Deloitte & Touche for tallying.
I haven't received mine yet, but I expect it in the next couple days. You should have until April 7th to return it.

Bullet voting is the really the way to go to reduce diluting the votes

My February issue of the magazine did Not have a ballot in it. It arrived in a large white envelope from D&T in McLean, VA.

Is this a question of whether you receive a hardcopy vs the digital version, or are they just inconsistent?

I wouldn’t have a clue. Many in this thread have said it will arrive in the magazine (I assume hard copy) and many say it will arrive in a big white envelope. I can only confirm how it arrive for me. The NRA inconsistent? It seems that way, but when it comes to voting, there should be Zero inconsistencies.

I've always received my ballot via mail direct from D&T, so I was surprised that the NRA said it was being distributed via the NRA magazine. I'm a digital subscriber so that wasn't going to happen regardless...

Finally, if you have not received a ballot in your February NRA magazine, that is a reliable indicator that you are not an eligible voter and need to take steps to change that by upgrading your NRA membership type so you can have a say in who leads your National Rifle Association.

This is why they have always used D&T for tallying purposes. Maybe it's just cheaper on them to reduce the number of ballots D&T distributes by sending some of them out via the magazine. I don't know.

I voted for Adam Kraut last year so I am probably on their "do not send ballot" list!

I'm personally acquainted with Dwight Van Horn. He's a former Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy and long time 2nd Amendment advocate, NRA Life member. Dwight and I personally went to DC to lobby against the first "Assault Weapons ban" back in the 1990's with other LEOs affiliated with the NRA. He's the "real deal", and I'd strongly support his reelection to the board.

My ballot came bound into the current issue of The American Rifleman. IIRC, I have always received my ballots that way.

My ballot has come in "American Rifleman" for many years. I joined for life in 1963 and have bumped up three times to Benefactor so there has never been a lapse in my membership.
