I knew a guy that bought one that thought he was buying a cruiser. He was not happy with the bike at all in short order.

They look pretty cool but are more geared to short hops.

I've read a good bit on them, like the swept, chopperish bike look. It was maybe a bit more chopperish than I preferred. Very reliable, great operating and slightly underpowered. I was interested because I still live under the delusion that I'll one day get a motorcycle, and it kinda showed up on my list.

I've heard generally good things from those who like the looks. Me personally, I like the bigger power of something like a Yamaha Raider, if I were gonna go metric, but if'n I were not so tall and big, the Fury would be a good option.

I don't know about the 2018 or 2019 Fury but a coworker had an early one. It was a nice looking bike. Got a lot of looks but it was a bit uncomfortable for longer rides. His Fury seems to have had never ending fuel pump fuel tank problems. He was not the only one apparently. Something (material) Honda coated the inside of the tank or seams with would deteriorated and kill the fuel pump. I know honda replace the tank once but it also ended up with the same problem. I would take a look for a used or NOS Yamaha Stryker before you decide if you want that style of a bike.

I did read, as an addendum, that there's a good bit more plastic on the bike than you'd think.

Should find some good deals on leftover new Furys. Honda Powersports recently actioned old warehouse stock off for dealers to bid on buying, I had my dealer pick up a 2017 VFR1200X for me. There were a few of most bikes but a fair number of VFR1200X's and I recall a lot of Fury's and NC700's.

I think this dealer in PA buys aged inventory from Honda, they have 2016 and 2017 Fury's and VFR1200x's https://trackntrail.net/Motorc...75-8b8c-a8c20111258c

No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

No experience (and not my personal taste), but its styling reminds me of Arlen Ness custom bikes. Bing Images - Arlen Ness Motorcycles (Ness died the 22nd of last month, BTW.)

I should not have clicked on that link. They have a new 2015 VFR800 Interceptor for $5,999. I always wonder how some dealers have seemingly fantastic prices on older, but new motorcycles.

Theres a lot of profit built into the price of motorcycles. I got 4500 bucks off MSRP for my 2016 BMW K16GTLE, 4300 off MSRP on my 2017 ZX14R and 4 grand off MSRP on my 2018 H2SXSE. I have to assume the manufacturer and dealership still made a profit after selling me the bikes after the incentives. I know manufacturers auction off NOS and bikes that were displayed at shows or demo's by executives which also accounts for the reduced price you see in bikes that are new but a couple years old.

They are Hondas so decent motorcycles, the design was introduced a bit late in the market, the chopper fad was ending and buyers were already migrating to the bagger world.

You see a few around now and then, decent enough looking, I'd ask to ride a demo if you can to see if you like the handling.
