Anyone use or have experience with cooling blankets ??? I am a sleeper that sleeps with the AC and fan on. In winter I still have the fan blowing. Anyone else like me and have used these cooling blankets ??? Please share your experience. Thank you and God Bless Smile

No, but I'm interested too. My wife has 3 regular blankets and an electric blanket, meanwhile I'm camped out on top of the covers because it's so hot I don't need anything. We look forward to the golden years as we age where I start to get colder and she starts to get warmer and for a few years we're both comfy at the same temperature. Until then, a cooled blanket might be nice.

"The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford, "it is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards."
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."

We have a couple, they are wonderful. I bought the Mrs. a thicker comforter like one at Costco for her hot flashes

The other is a thin blanket on the bed, it kind of reminds me of satin but cool to the touch

Wife is a hot sleeper. We have a BedJet. It has a double sheet that goes on top of the bed, under the comforter, that a blower can cool the air by 10ish degrees of room temp. Heater goes up to 120 degrees.

Weve had it 4 years no issues. You can do dual zones. I just end up sleepin with pants on so i dont need 2 units as they were pricy.

They are cool to the touch, I have no idea how.

I just received this one yesterday

The Mrs. bought this big fancy chair for the theater room and for some reason it makes you hot sitting in it. This blanket on it changes that. This one is thin

We have 2, yes they work. One for me and the wife.

When you put one over you, you feel cooler than with any other blanket.

We even bought one to lay across the dogs bed in the summer time. He loves it too.

It's like some kind of magic.

Speaking of the Bedjet, you don't need to have that special sheet for the nozzle, right? The nozzle just needs to go over my fitted sheet and under my top sheet, correct?

We've had the Bedjet for a month now. Works well. There is a 10 degree difference in the settings my wife and I use.

So I purchased cooling pillowcases and blanket from amazon. I can honestly say that they both work. I used to have a regular pillowcases and would wake up with my pillow moist with my sweat. However with the cooling pillowcase feeling silky smooth made of rayon, I wake up dry and cooler. The blanket is made of some bamboo fibers and is very light and allows some air and evaporation through. I have a fan blowing and can feel a slight breeze from it. I would say it is a win for me. Thank you for everyone for sharing their experiences. God Bless !!!

Never tried it without the sheet. I think you will probably need it. Make sure you buy the correct one. If you both want the air I believe it is "single zone" if just one of you wants the air you will want Dual Zone.
