Damn, that looks good!

I peel mine, put in a bowl with a pat of butter, salt and pepper and enjoy with a slice of toast on the side. Lots of pepper!!! Big Grin

Eggs are undoubtedly a great food. However, an egg has about 6 grams of protein, so two eggs is about 12 grams of protein. That's anywhere from 1/5th to 1/20th of the amount of protein you should be eating in a day, depending on the nutritional plan you're following.

Certainly better than nothing, but two eggs alone is hardly the solution to someone having low protein in their diet.

At today's prices, we might be able to afford two eggs / week. Shared for a family of five.

My gift to you all.

Two English muffins (get Aldis, they're bigger than Thomas's and cheaper too). Toast em up good and brown, and let em cool. More moisture departs, and they firm up.

Two eggs scrambled and fried up flat. Fly up some ham slices too. Stack that with some onions and the ham and eggs onto the muffins. Add some slices of apple (I like Honey crisp).

Slather with Franks red hot and go to town!

Same. I have 3 eggs for breakfast (and steamed rice) and some turkey bacon. And some fruit. Blood work is solid AF. I try to get at least 200gr of Protein per day.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

The exact reason I got back into raising quail. Chickens would probably be better for a larger family, but since its just the dog and I, quail are perfect. It costs about $1.65 worth of feed to get the equivalent of a dozen chicken eggs. They take up less than 15 sq.ft. in the garage and there's always fresh meat.
