Ben Dorsey - King of the Roadies has passed
I met Ben a number of years ago. It was at Louis "Cowboy" Johnson's CD release party at Josita's in Austin. He introduced himself, "I'm Ben Dosey. I work for Willie Nelson." I repled, "No shit." He laughed pretty hard at that and we spent the rest of the night telling tales and swapping lies. What a character. Had a great time. Was there with Lana Nelson and Mamie Newbury, Mickey's mama.

I will miss this larger than life character. God speed, Ben.
