I have no doubt about what the article is saying but I want to look at this stratigically and see how it fits in the discussion of global warming.
If I throw this article into a discussion, I'll be sure to get the following:
1) It's from Breitbart - a neo-con climate change denier site.
2) Who are these authors? Just some non-scientist climate change deniers.
3) Why isn't this discussed in the mainstream media? If it was so true, then it would be more widely discussed because news thrive on controversy.
So is this article more for preaching to the choir?
So I take it you are not a choir member?
You guess wrong. But I only talk with other people I agree with if there is incremental knowledge gained. There's more discussion to be had with people I diagree with so I look at any incremental knowledge critically.
It's like chess. You come across a good opening you like, something that fits your style. The next thing is to figure out what the counter-move is and how well it holds up against enemy fire.
Since you asked me if I'm a choir member, I take it you don't evangelize to unbelievers much?
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

And I'm not attacking you, Jallen. I do appreciate you posting this article.
It's ok to automatically disregard Breitbart.
I automatically disregard anyone who lives in the Bay Area of California.

Thanks for adding some really insightful and profound substance to the discussion. You must persuade a lot of people to your point of view all the time.

2012BOSS302Most of the climate alarmist data seems to be massaged in some way - the Mann hockey stick temp graph comes to mind. I find it hard to believe any of them, they are so biased in their reports. It seems more about continuing their funding, than the truth. Credibility shot.
Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a leader, politicians are a dime a dozen, leaders are priceless. December 14, 2017, 08:04 AM
BillyBonesNYI'm not surprised the data has been falsified.
My geology teacher who was a giant in his field, prior to retiring refuted the up and coming "science" of Global Warming, this was circa 1998.
He cited many reasons in his half hour of discussion... it was the first I had heard of this new nightmare facing all of humanity.
On a personal note, I don't care whether there is global warming or not.
If it is happening, society will adjust... nature has a way of "righting" itself.
More concerning is the expansion of the desert in North Africa.
The world, it's climate and even the universe is in Flux, man has little to say or, do about the matter.
Irrespective of our impact.
