Ok, this is my new fascination found on youtube...

I won't post any of the videos because it involves working on cow feet/hooves...and can get a bit..detailed...so feel free to check him out.

Utterly (pun intended) fascinating...whoda thunk so much goes into tending to a bovines feet?

I saw rocks...a tooth...and part of a knife from a previous vet who tended the cows hoof!

Learning so much about seeing abscess just from the tones between layers and such...

I worked on a dairy farm growing up and they never had foot drs in...but the pasture was well maintained...parlor was immaculate...and cow run was scraped & washed daily by yours truly.

My kids and I watch his videos on and off. Some people say they get shit on at work, figuratively speaking. This man LITERALLY gets shit on at work...and I laugh every time. It is oddly fascinating watching him cut out dead tissue and re-shape wonky hooves.

Yeah saw the knife one. Sometimes I daydream about being a farrier.
