I'd say "good, I'm glad". But perhaps we'd all have been better off if they'd have just pulled the trigger at that moment. I suppose not. In the end, I believe Zuckerberg and his ilk, and their army of evil data scientists will bring our end before Oppenheimer's weapons do. Brother against brother, divided and conquered. As we’re discussing two different subjects, it’s important to understand that captured German scientists had nothing to do with the development of nuclear weapons by the US and Britain. The Germans were working independently toward that goal during the war, but despite sensational fictional accounts to the contrary, they never progressed beyond the earliest basic research stages. A good book about all that is Heisenberg’s War: The Secret History Of The German Bomb by Thomas Powers. ► 6.4/93.6 “Most men … can seldom accept the simplest and most obvious truth if it … would oblige them to admit the falsity of conclusions … which they have woven, thread by thread, into the fabrics of their lives.” — Leo Tolstoy

He should have done very well on his polygraph test. Doubt any question elicited so much as a wiggle on the machine!

The German scientists are lucky they had such skills and we needed them. Otherwise many would have ended their careers at the end of a rope in the later 1940's for their own war crimes using slave labor, etc. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.
