Watching a slow moving disaster happen
What a great video.

A slow moving, inevitable disaster. As bad as this was for the barge, it was likely as bad for the bridge users. Watch the crane.

But there is a bright spot. At least my day isn't likely to be as bad as the guys on the barge had it.

What a mess! Job security for the clean up crew, that’s going to take a while.

Couldn't have been Thailand. Some cowboy would have lassoed that thing and they'd have it broken down for scrap within 20 feet.

That had to compromise the bridge.

My thoughts as well. I was actually expecting to see it collapse, but was impressed with how well it handled it. That's a lot of force...hopefully it gets a thorough inspection before they open it back up.

A not so subtle reminder of the amazing power of water and of gravity.

So now I know how to say “oh shit” and “oh fuck” in Vietnamese.
